Associations entitled to vote: Switzerland, Luxembourg, Turkey, France, Senegal The extraordinary general assembly will take place digitally.
The following decisions were made at the extraordinary General Meeting.
Explanations of the individual proposals:
Proposal 1:
Joseph S. Blatter was and is an extraordinary personality in international football.
His opinion and his winning manner are still in great demand in many parts of the world today. We think that Joseph S. Blatter will also be a good ambassador for the WSCA and an absolute added value for the future of the WSCA. His popularity is unbroken, especially on the African continent, and he can open new doors for us in politics and business. We therefore recommend that Joseph S. Blatter be elected as the first WSCA honorary president.
Approved
Proposal 2:
After countless discussions with coaching associations all over the world, it has become clear how big the differences are between the various associations: organizationally, in terms of personnel, but also financially. The WSCA is an association for everyone. We therefore want to avoid associations being unable to become members due to a lack of financial resources. We therefore recommend adopting the system with graduated membership fees.
Approved
Proposal 3:
3.1 In many countries, there is still no trainers’ association. The national associations are the first point of contact for many trainers. We therefore also want to enable regular membership for national associations, provided that there exists still no trainers’ association in that country.
3.2 In countries where a trainers’ association already exists, national associations can also become members and bring forward their concerns and those of the trainers, but without voting rights (co-opted).
We do not assume that many national associations will want to become members.
However, we would like to keep the statutes flexible and leave all options open to the national associations.
We therefore recommend adopting the admission of national associations (3.1 & 3.2).
Approved
Proposal 4:
For the reasons stated in Proposal 2, we should currently waive an admission fee. The later introduction of an admission fee can be justified by the fact that the new members will then pay this fee for the existing structure of the WSCA.
Approved
